GOP Congressman Wants To ‘Introduce’ Wolves To Homeless People (Video)

Republican U.S. Congressman Don Young has suggested a unique method of solving the “homeless problem.”

GOP Alaska Congressman Don Young is not a fan of gay people, polar bears, elephants, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, wolves, or homeless people.

Last year, Rep. Young gave a talk to Wasilla, Alaska high school students during which he blamed them for the suicide of one of their classmates just a week prior, and compared same-sex marriage to sex between two bulls.

He was re-elected in November anyway.

On Thursday, Young decided to attack Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell during a budget hearing.

Secretary Jewell was not the only one in Rep. Young’s sights. The gray wolf – the endangered species Sarah Palin supports shooting from a helicopter – and homeless people were too.

Young would like the gray wolf removed from the endangered species list not because the species is no longer endangered, but because there are still gray wolves in existence.

During the hearing, he also attacked 79 of his fellow Congressman who sent Sec. Jewell a letter requesting the wolf remain on the list.

“How many of you have got wolves in your district?” Young rhetorically queried. “None. None. Not one.”

“They haven’t got a damn wolf in their whole district,” he added. “I’d like to introduce them in your district. If I introduced them in your district, you wouldn’t have a homeless problem anymore.”

Young did not offer any other suggestions to solve homelessness.
