Another New Poll Shows Just How Far Ahead Of Every 2016 Candidate Hillary Clinton Really Is

The news isn’t that Hillary Clinton is beating everyone else, it’s by how much she’s beating everyone else.

The last thing any candidate should do is get cocky. Hillary Clinton in 2008 may have believed in the “inevitability” of her campaign, but this time around she has even more reason to.

As NCRM reported last week, the former Secretary of State is trouncing every other Democratic and Republican likely candidate out there.

Just one week ago, Gallup published a graph that charted each potential candidate’s favorability rating and familiarity rating. Clinton was ahead by a landslide. In fact, the only candidate who beat her in favorability was Ben Carson, who was almost last in familiarity.

Today, CNN published their latest poll (full results) which show Clinton pounding every possible contender.

CNN notes that “none of the top candidates in this field gets within 10 points of Hillary Clinton in a series of hypothetical general election matchups.”

The closest head-to-head match up was from Rand Paul, whom Clinton beats 54% – 43%.

Clinton beats the GOP’s top candidate, Jeb Bush, by a 15-point margin: 55-40. Same with Scott Walker. 

And she beats Mike Huckabee, 55-41, and Ben Carson, 56-40.

In any primary against any Democrat, there is no contest currently.

Clinton holds a nearly 50-point lead over Vice President Joe Biden, her closest competitor in the field, 62% to 15%. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren rounds out the top three on the Democratic side with 10%. No other potential candidate tops 5%.

The poll, taken March 13-15, comes at the tail end of “emailgate,” so any damage it might have done to her candidacy seems minimal.
