Alarms And ‘Praise And Worship Songs Blaring’: Babysitter Describes Justin Harris Home (Video)

The babysitter of the two young girl Arkansas lawmaker Justin Harris adopted then re-homed, after he had demons exorcised, speaks.

For more than a week the nation has grown increasingly concerned, troubled, and even disgusted by the revelations that Arkansas lawmaker and Christian preschool owner Justin Harris adopted two very young girls, and in a matter of months “re-homed” them to another family because their behavior was troublesome. One of the girls was subsequently raped by the husband of that other family.

Yesterday, more stunning revelations came. Chelsey Goldsborough, a babysitter Justin Harris and his wife, Marsha Harris, hired, told the Arkansas Times the Harrisses believed the two girls, aged six and three, “were possessed by demons and could communicate telepathically.” The Harrises even arranged to have them exorcised to cast out their demons, although the Harrisses deny this. Other sources confirmed Marsha Harris discussed the exorcism and possession with them.

Goldsborough was their babysitter for about two months, five days a week. She told reporters at Arkansas Matters that the Harris family kept one of the girls locked in a room with just a bed, a desk and chair, and a video camera through which Goldsborough would watch her.

“They used to share a room until something, until they found out they were possessed and then they split rooms. The older sister’s room had her bed, this desk and like a chair, and that was about it. I mean there was alarms on the doors. The first night I was there and they had left to see how I would handle it, and I was by this little girl’s door with praise and worship songs blaring and I was crying.” Goldsborough said.

Asked about the exorcism, she answered, “I just knew people from Alabama were coming to pray and an exorcist was basically going to help get the demons out of the two little girls. That’s basically all they let me know.”

Contrary to the claims Justin Harris made, Goldsborough insists the girls seemed “normal” and not violent.

“I’ve baby sat many years and I mean they were like little girls, they would fight when they didn’t want to eat their vegetables, and they would blame each-other of course, and they would play like little girls, Barbies and all.”

Goldsborough, who was a high school senior during the time she sat for the Harris family, says she told others about the treatment of the girl, but there was little more she felt she could do.

“I did tell certain people and I mean there’s only so much a high schooler can do. I was younger so nobody was going to believe a younger girl compared to a daycare owner.”

Harris is still an Arkansas State Rep. and the Republican political leaders are standing by him.
