Watch: Tiffany’s Beautiful New Ad Is A Celebration Of Diversity
Tiffany & Co. has released another beautiful ad, this one even more dedicated to inclusion and diversity. And it may make you cry.
Last month, New York City-based jeweler Tiffany & Co. released its first print ad featuring a same-sex couple. This month, the 178-year old luxury goods retailer has released another ad that can easily be described as a celebration of diversity. The video, “Will You?,” is beautiful, heartwarming, and all but guaranteed to make you cry.
“Will you let me be the guy who gets to make fun of you because you take three minutes to butter your toast in the morning?,” the voiceover asks. And after several questions, posed by several different men, they ask their respective partners, “Will you marry me?”
Noting both a same-sex couple and an interracial couple, AdWeek calls it “gorgeous,” and labels the campaign “a sweet spot, in tune with the times, celebrating diversity and true love as simple facts life.”
“Miley Cyrus called it ‘badass,” AdWeek continues, adding that “some critics say it doesn’t push the envelope enough, while others take Tiffany to task for casting only attractive couples.”
