End Your Week With This Awesome Maddow Story About Oregon’s High Tech Bears

Rachel Maddow Thursday night paid tribute to an Oregon same-sex couple who bought JebBushForPresident.com and will use it to advocate for LGBT rights. 

Maddow’s opening segment Thursday was possibly one of her best ever – certainly one of her most entertaining. She covered many stories from the state of Oregon, including Oregon’s attack owl, who swoops down and attacks people’s heads, and this terrific man, a doctor, who is one of the owl’s victims:

At the end, Maddow profiled Oregon’s “self-described high tech bears” who own JebBushForPresident.com. CJ and Charlie, a couple since 1996, are planning on turning it into a portal for information on gay rights, as NCRM reported earlier.

“If you are not familiar with all the intricacies of modern gay culture,” Maddow begins, “bears are everyone’s happy gay sub-culture.”

It’s a terrific segment and a great way to end your week on a high note.
