Rush Limbaugh blames a man who is going to marry his daughter on the country’s support of same-sex marriage.Â
In a perverse interpretation of a New York Magazine story, Rush Limbaugh today told listeners about a father who is planning on marrying his 18-year old daughter. That part is true, but Limbaugh insists that it’s the result of a nation embracing same-sex marriage and the idea that love is love, regardless of who the parties are.
“I, sensitive and compassionate host,” Limbaugh says, “didn’t want to appear insensitive or jocular about this. But do you remember how everyone laughed when we warned you people about this very thing happening.”
“Once society decided to redefine marriage, and redefine what makes up a legitimate relationship,” Limbaugh said. He then mocked same-sex marriage supporters by saying, “Not enough love in the world, there’s too much hate in the world. And whenever there’s love in the world we should applaud it, we should not judge it we should embrace it.”
Limbaugh concluded that he’s not surprised by this news.
