Watch: Fellow Fox Host Says There Won’t Be A President Huckabee
Laura Ingraham says Mike Huckabee won’t win the White House, suggests he should have chosen a different path.
Laura Ingraham has become something of a mouthpiece for the Tea Party wing of the GOP. The anti-gay right-wing pundit  discussed the news that Mike Huckabee is leaving Fox News to explore a presidential run while on Fox News Sunday, proclaiming that her former fellow Fox host will not win the White House.
“The idea that Mike Huckabee is going to be president of the United States? I’ll predict that’s not going to happen,” Ingraham, who often appears as a guest host for Bill O’Reilly said yesterday.
She also called into question his motives for running.
“He’d probably do better serving conservatism if he had run for one of the two open Senate seats in Arkansas over the last few years. He decided not to do that,” Ingraham said, qualifying her criticism by adding that Huckabee “had a great show on Fox.”
Of course, Twitter enjoyed the commentary.
“Mike Huckabee can’t win a general election” is the exact sort advanced-level punditry we deserve. http://t.co/G3mpsebHwL
