Fox News Blames Paris Terrorism Attack On Political Correctness

At least two people at Fox News are blaming today’s terror attack against the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo on political correctness.

Todd Starnes, Fox News‘ religion reporter and one of its top anti-gay, anti-Islam, anti-Obama pundits, today blamed the attack on Paris’ Charlie Hebdo satirical newspaper on political correctness. Conservatives often attack political correctness, touting their desire to not be “PC” as an excuse to share unpopular and hate-filled views.

Not everyone agreed with Starnes, and they weren’t too “PC” to tell him so.

Meanwhile, a few astute commentators summed up Starnes’ ignorance brilliantly:

But Starnes wasn’t the only one at Fox News to blame “political correctness.”

Fox News military expert and contributor Tom McInerney did too, as Mediaite reports.

“Political correctness is killing us, this is a prime example,” McInerney, a retired Lt. General, said of today’s attack that killed at least 12 in Paris. “It’s time that people remove the political correctness and hold the people accountable with global public opinion, challenge them.”

He also took the opportunity to blast Mayor Bill de Blasio as a “communist” and warned that the New York City Democratic mayor might attract radical Islamic terrorists by taking the guns away from the NYPD.
