Obama Says Sony ‘Made A Mistake’ By Pulling Film After North Korea Threat

President Barack Obama just said, “Yes, I do think they made a mistake,” by pulling “The Interview.”

In his year-end press conference, President Obama made news by responding to a reporter’s question about Sony pulling “The Interview” this week.

“Yes, I do think they made a mistake,” President Obama said. “I wish they had spoken to me first,” suggesting it was an important and precedent-setting free-speech issue.

“We can not have a society in which some dictator some place can start imposing censorship in the United States.”

He also said it says a lot about North Korea for choosing to threaten Sony over a “satirical movie, starring Seth Rogan.” Reporters laughed, and he added, “I love Seth.”
