An Indiana pastor who was arrested after grabbing a stranger’s genitals told police the gay porn they found in his car isn’t his.
Last week 59-year old Gaylard Williams, a pastor at the Praise Cathedral Church of God in Seymour, Indiana, was arrested. WLKY reports a 27-year old man claims Williams approached him while he was in his parked car. When the alleged victim rolled down his window, Williams grabbed the man’s genitals, the man says, and asked for oral sex.
The unidentified man says he pretended to grab for a gun after telling Williams he was “barking up the wrong tree,” and managed to get Williams’ license plate number.
When the cops came to speak with Pastor Williams, they asked to search his car. They found gay porn but Williams told them he was keeping it for a friend and was going to return it.
Williams has been charged with battery.
Raw Story reports that Pastor Williams’ church “teaches that same-sex marriage is sinful and urges congregants to ‘glorify God in our body and which avoid the fulfillment of the lust of the flesh.'”
