Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson speaks for the first time on-camera, says he would change nothing about his killing Michael Brown.
He says he has a clean conscience, he had no choice but to get out of his car and follow Michael Brown after a physical altercation that began because the teen was walking in the middle of the road. 6′ 4″, 210 pound police officer Darren Wilson told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos today that he wouldn’t change his actions one bit in the timeline leading up to Brown’s killing.
Wilson today told Stephanopoulos, “The reason I have a clean conscience is that I know I did my job right.” He insists it was his “duty” to exit the police car after an encounter which, Wilson says, included Brown punching him through the car window and looking like “a demon” enraged.

“I just felt the immense power that he had. And then the way I’ve described it is, it was like a 5-year-old holding onto Hulk Hogan. That’s just how big this man was.”
The 28-year old officer also dismissed witness accounts, including those who said Michael Brown was on his knees with his hands up, saying, “Don’t shoot.”Â
“That would be incorrect,” Wilson responds, when Stephanopoulos asks him about that description, which has become an international meme.
