Watch: Dan Savage Slams As ‘Toothless’ The ‘Flailing’ National Organization For Marriage
Dan Savage today called NOM, the National Organization For Marriage, a “failing, flailing paper tiger” and advised its employees to get their résumés updated.Â
Appearing on MSNBC’s “Now with Alex Wagner,” Dan Savage today noted that the National Organization For Marriage is $2.5 million in debt and suggested they are powerless.
Savage said “the National Organization For Marriage is a failing, flailing paper tiger. Toothless. They’re $2.5 million in debt. They’re raising 70 percent less money now than they were a few years ago.”
The It Gets Better co-founder, activist, and author also had some advice for NOM’s employees, saying that “all those people should be getting their résumés together and trying to find some honest work, because there’s no money anymore in attacking LGBT Americans.”
