Top Anti-Gay Group: ‘Duggars Are Under A Malicious Attack By Rabid Homosexual Activists’

One of the nation’s largest and most active anti-gay groups is suggesting gay people will kick the popular TLC show “19 Kids and Counting” off the air.

Even MSNBC’s Ed Schultz reported on the Duggars Friday evening.

Here’s the story.

The American Family Association is claiming that TLC’s amazingly popular TV reality show is at risk of being canceled because a petition is gaining traction.

That petition, about which The New Civil Rights Movement reported earlier this week, was created back in August and got very little attention until E! Online found it and brought it back to life. After the reports by E! and NCRM, the petition exploded and the mainstream media and LGBT blogs found it.

In just a few short days the petition went from about 7000 signatures to now over 138,000.

So of course anti-gay groups like the American Family Association saw a money-making opportunity and a chance to attack LGBT people, and they took it.

“The Duggar Family has been viciously attacked: Show your support for them here,” reads the subject of a fundraising email sent today by the AFA. “Rabid homosexual activists have made America’s favorite family enemy Number One,” it begins.

The Duggar Family “has shared their strong Christian faith with millions of families across America for years. They are unashamedly pro-life and Christ-centered,” AFA’s email, designed to grow their email list so they can beg more people for money, continues.

“The Duggars are under a malicious attack, AFA claims. “Because of their uncompromising stand on marriage and abstinence, the homosexual lobby has drawn a bully bead on Jim and Michelle Duggar. Gay activists are publicly labeling Jim and Michelle with words like ‘ignorance’ and ‘fear mongering.'”

In the past week, homosexuals launched a very frightening and fast-growing petition asking TLC to cancel 19 Kids and Counting. Already, their hate-filled petition has gathered 130,000 signatures, thanks to the liberal media’s propaganda machine.

Our goal is 1,000,000 signatures by Christmas!

Actually, the petition has been around for months, but facts are unimportant to AFA.

As Ed Schultz explains in the video – and which the American Family Association misrepresented – the petition focuses on fear-mongering anti-trans robocalls Michelle Duggar recorded that were used to spam unwitting residents of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

What do you think?
