Russia Dismantles Monument To Steve Jobs Because Apple CEO Tim Cook Is Gay (Video)

A Russian company is afraid its monument, a huge iPhone, constructed to honor Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, will violate Putin’s anti-gay laws.

After Apple CEO Tim Cook announced last week that he is gay, a Russian company ordered its monument to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs be dismantled.

The company, ZEFS, stated in a press release it’s concerned the six-foot-ple iPhone statue might fall under Vladimir Putin’s anti-gay laws prohibiting any “propaganda” supporting homosexuality.

“Monument to Steve Jobs as a giant iPhone was solemnly placed in January 2013 in the area of direct access for young students,” a Google translation of the Russia press release states. “In the Russian legislation prohibits propaganda of homosexuality and other sexual perversions among minors. After Apple CEO Tim Cook has publicly called for sodomy, the monument was dismantled pursuant to Russian federal law on the protection of children from information that promotes the denial of traditional family values.”

This happened after Apple’s CEO confessed his homosexual. This decision was made head of the company “Zefs” Maxim Dolgopolov, who a year ago he initiated the installation of two-meter smartphone in the courtyard of the University of Information Technology. He took a statement by Tim Cook as the promotion of homosexuality, which is contrary to Russian law.

The statement also points to revelations made by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, and claims Apple technology is “spying on users in favor of the US special services.”
