Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson is reportedly negotiating his resignation. What does this mean?
Last night Anderson Cooper revealed that the police officer who shot and killed unarmed 18-year old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri this summer, is making plans to resign. Many people across the nation are hoping a grand jury indicts Darren Wilson for murder.
Wilson, according to the CNN report, is negotiating his resignation but strongly believes he did nothing wrong.
The timing of the announcement could mean the grand jury has already reached its decision. The District Attorney has a 48-hour window from that point to release the verdict.
