Elizabeth Warren Cheers Scott Brown’s Loss: ‘Woo Hoo!’ (Video)

Elizabeth Warren went on Seth Meyer’s “Late Night” show last night and talked about the economy, the GOP, Democrats, and Scott Brown losing, again.

Democratic Senator Elizabeth, whom many progressives are hoping will run for the White House in 2016, spoke with Seth Meyers last night about a wide variety of issues.

After cheering the election loss of her former rival, Scott Brown, in New Hampshire last week, Warren went on to josh, “We hear he’s going to Maine.”

On the Republican majority in Congress, Warren noted that the America she grew up in invested in children and tyhe future, and she promised to fight for that now.

The Massachusetts Senator appeared intense as she reminded the audience that just a year ago the GOP “shut down the government. Flushed away $23 billion, money that could have been spent on schools or medical research, and yet weren’t held accountable for that” in last week’s elections.

Accountability on all sides is important Warren said.

“Mitch McConnell said just a couple of days ago is he wants to go to Congress and loosen the regulations over the big banks. Now, I don’t think very many people went to the polls and said, ‘Boy, I am casting my vote to make sure that Wall Street has better chances to make bigger profits off the backs of the American people.’ I mean, I just don’t think that’s what was going on.”

She essentially chastised lawmakers who ran away from the President and his policies, stating Democrats need to be very clear about whom they’re fighting for if the want to win elections.
