Watch: Edie Windsor’s Winning DOMA Attorney Roberta Kaplan Predicts Next Steps For Marriage

Here’s an excellent recap of what happened today at the Supreme Court, and what the future likely holds.

Roberta Kaplan, Edie Windsor’s famed attorney who successfully battled DOMA at the Supreme Court last year, talks with MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow about the next steps for same-sex marriage in the U.S.

Kaplan says she’s willing to “predict” that marriage cases in the 6th and 9th Circuits will be decided in favor of same-sex couples, so if any appellate court decides against marriage equality, it would be the 5th Circuit, which includes Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

The video also gives a great overview of today’s historic events, so take a look.
