He’s hosted the Tonys and the Emmys, but now, for the first time, instead of just performing in the Oscars Neil Patrick Harris will host the 87th Annual Academy Awards on February 22. Variety broke the news minutes ago.
Harris recently married his long-time partner, David Burtka, in Italy, and recently concluded a highly successful run in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” for which he won a Tony.
His autobiography, cleverly titled, Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography, was released just yesterday, so this announcement is perfect timing.
