Actor Who Wants To Burn Gay People Alive Believes Ebola Victims Being Resurrected As Zombies
A popular Russian actor who last December announced he wanted to burn gay people alive in ovens says that people who have died from Ebola are being resurrected – as zombies.
Last December, Ivan Okhlobystin (Иван ОхлобыÑтин) made international headlines for announcing he wanted to burn gay people alive. “I myself would shove all live gays into [a] furnace,” he told a packed audience. “This is Sodom and Gomorrah, I as a believer in God can not treat this indifferently, this is a live threat to my kids!… I do not want my kids to think that faggots are normal,” Okhlobystin, a member of the Russian Orthodox Church and a former Russian Orthodox priest, said. “This is lavender fascism. If a person can not choose someone of an opposite sex for procreation – this is an overt sign of mental abnormality, so they should be denied voting rights.”
Okhlobystin, 48, stars in a popular Russian TV show similar to America’s “Scrubs,” and made the comments during a performance called, “Spiritual Discussions.”
The Russian actor, screenwriter, and director was slated to deliver a similar performance in Riga, Latvia, on November 7,but the country’s foreign minister has banned Okhlobystin’s entry.
Citing Okhlobystin’s comments as “ethnic hatred,” Edgars RinkÄ“viÄs posted this tweet on Friday:
Esmu nolÄ“mis pasludinÄt par Latvijai nevÄ“lamu personu Ivanu Ohlobistinu, ņemot vÄ“rÄ izteikumus, kas vÄ“rtÄ“jami kÄ etnisku naidu kurinoÅ¡i

RinkÄ“viÄs “later added that the entry ban was based on the actor’s offensive statements about the LGBT community,” the Moscow Times reports. But it was this news that perhaps sums up best the actor’s thoughts:
Last week he suggested that some victims of the Ebola virus were turning into zombies, explaining that he had heard of many cases in which those who died from the virus were mysteriously resurrected several days later. In case there was any doubt, the actor added that he “was not joking” and that he had purchased a crossbow, “just in case.”
