Philadelphia Hate Attack Suspect Kathryn Knott ‘Has Been Terminated From Her Employment’

One of the three suspects in the Philadelphia anti-gay hate attack on a same-sex couple has been “terminated” from her job at a hospital.

Katherine Knott, one of the three Philly hate attack suspects who were charged and made bail early this morning, was suspended from her job as an X-ray technician at a local Philadelphia hospital yesterday. The 24-year old police chief’s daughter had tweeted at least five x-rays in possible violation of federal patient privacy laws.

Today, the hospital took that one step further.

“Effective today, September 25, 2014, Kathryn Knott has been terminated from her employment at Abington Health,” the hospital’s statement reads. “Abington Health takes patient privacy and confidentiality very seriously and is fully investigating this matter.”
