Tweets Reveal Arrested Suspect In Philadelphia Anti-Gay Attack Has Homophobic History

For several years arrested gay bashing suspect Kathryn Knott put a lot of her opinions and photos on Twitter. Now, they’re exposing a homophobic history.

In addition to the homophobic tweets, there appears to be evidence of excessive drinking, a belief she is owed things, including money, anti-immigrant beliefs, and disturbing claims of privilege for being the daughter of a police chief.

LGBT activist Scott Wooledge curated most of these tweets, and some others, from what is believed to be Knott’s Twitter account. Philadelphia Magazine’s Victor Fiorillo contributed the three about her policing with her father.

What do you think?

The Huffington Post reports that “Knott’s attorney, Louis Busico, told WPVI-TV that the incident was not motivated by homophobia, and that his client ‘played no role in this other than going out to dinner with friends the night this happened.'”
