Olbermann: No ‘Media Distraction’ Over ‘Wife Beater’ Ray Rice But Over Michael Sam?
ESPN’s Keith Olbermann wonders how the NFL elite can claim worry over the possible “media distraction” having Michael Sam on a team might bring, but express no concern over the “media distraction” a wife beater brings.Â
Keith Olbermann last night slammed anti-women attitudes of some people associated with professional sports, and expressed outrage at the misogyny of the NFL for banning “wife beater” Ray Rice for only “two whole games.” The former MSNBC host, now doing his progressive best at ESPN when he’s able, offered a staggering list of examples of how those in the professional sports industry enable making women “a little less human.”
