Most Americans will think it’s great that Marvel is re-casting iconic comic book superhero Thor as a strong, powerful woman — except conservatives, who are outraged.
Comic book giant Marvel yesterday unveiled the new Thor, and she’s a woman.
Yes, they just called the new Thor a whore. Because she’s a she. But there’s no war on women, no conservative misogyny, right?…
Over at Moonbattery — which, by comparison, tends to make Hot Air look civilized, there was this:
If kids don’t like Thor in a skirt, Marvel will make up for it by generating still more adulating press by declaring that she is also a lesbian and a Muslim.
Meanwhile, in the comments section of a Fox News article announcing the news, readers were unabashedly furious, misogynistic, homophobic, and ignorant.
If Thor were trans — and Marvel said enough for us to know she is not — she would be a she, not an “it.”Â

So, a male Thor isn’t sexual, but a female Thor is.
And there it is, the typical, nasty lie: LGBT people “indoctrinate” and “recruit.”
Of course Fox News readers and viewers think everything is a liberal plot.
