Breaking: 295 Aboard Malaysia Airlines Plane Reported Dead Near Ukraine — Russian Missile Suspected

All passengers and crew aboard Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 are feared dead. Reports state the plane may have been shot down over the Ukraine-Russia border, possibly by a Russian Defense missile.

 

Unverified video is believed to have captured the aftermath of the crash:

CNN’s Barbara Starr reports that on Monday a Ukraine cargo plane “was also shot down from something on the Russian side of the border.”

The plane was on a path from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

The Guardian adds that this “was the third reported shooting down of a Ukrainian plane with a missile this week.”
