Macy’s Is Sponsoring ‘Sex Parades In Many Cities’ This Month, Claims Anti-Gay Group

The American Family Association is accusing department store giant Macy’s of sponsoring “sex parades in many cities,” in an attack on the LGBT community, gay pride, and, of course, the “world’s largest store.”

The American Family Association has a unique view of the world. Where many see love and acceptance, say, a marriage of two people who happen to be of the same gender raising a family, the anti-gay hate group sees “sexual behavior which is contrary to nature and pushing a household structure that we know is harmful to children.” Where most people see an oppressed group of people fighting — and winning — the hearts and minds of their fellow neighbors, the vast majority of whom now support their right to live their lives openly, the AFA sees the “Gay Gestapo.” And where many see a proud child leading a gay pride parade as evidence of love and, yes, family pride, the American Family Association sees a “poster child for promoting unnatural sexual expression” and “a form of child abuse.”

Those words are all from American Family Association president Tim Wildmon.

So are these:

Most American families don’t know about the contemptible role of Macy’s department stores in supporting “gay pride” throughout the nation.

Macy’s is a proud sponsor of multiple gay pride parades.

The radical events and activities of a typical ‘pride’ week-end are decadent and highly-sexualized. They are a disgrace to communities and certainly shouldn’t be financially supported by a retailer like Macy’s that claims to serve families.

Sex parades in many cities, among them New York City, Columbus, Phoenix, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Seattle and Kansas City, are supported by Macy’s sponsorship. In Orlando, Macy’s is the “presenting sponsor” of the parade.

The red star that has become Macy’s logo can often be seen floating as a balloon high above the marchers in these parades, and Macy’s employees march in the parade with signs and T-shirts that read “Pride and Joy.” Yet some of their fellow parade participants are partially-clothed and engaged in simulated sex acts, even while children are present. Some floats and signs mock man/woman marriage in support of same sex “marriage” while others outwardly mock sincerely held Christian faith.

That’s direct from an email blast AFA president Tim Wildmon sent yesterday. He warns that Macy’s “Fired a Christian employee who refused to let a man use the women’s dressing room,” (referring to an employee who did not follow company policy on transgender customers,) “Holds in-store ‘pride’ events,” “Is a huge supporter of the Human Rights Campaign,” and “Offers an online same sex wedding registry.”

That last one my husband, I, and all our Cuisinart can personally attest to be true.

It’s hard to take these people seriously. Until you remember that, as reported by the New York Times in 2012, the American Family Association has 192 talk-radio stations, emails 2.3 million potential voters, and “has an annual budget of $19 million, raised mainly from small donors, and 128 employees.”

Anti-gay hate groups and those spreading hate and lies are facing a tough time these days, thanks to the simple truth that Americans are realizing that what’s wrong with America is not loving same-sex couples who merely wish to live their lives and raise their families, what’s wrong with America is not a gay man fighting from being fired for being gay, rather, what’s wrong with America is a group of people who have chosen to live their lives spreading hate and lies, attempting to shape others to conform to their personal religious world view — and have even chosen to make their living doing so.
