Watch: Head Of Trump University, Donald Trump, Mourns ‘The Late, Great, Jimmy Carter’

In May of 2005, Donald Trump founded Trump University. You could attend online, make friends, buy a tee shirt, and even supposedly make a lot of money in real estate. You could also pay Trump up to a reported $35,000 to learn to get rich, just like Trump did. (Actually, you can’t learn to be born not wealth.)

After pressure — Trump University isn’t actually a university and you actually have to be a university to call yourself a university — Trump changed the name to The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative.

Trump is also suing the Attorney General of New York, apparently because Eric Schneiderman sued him for fraud in a $40 million case last summer, so Trump is suing back.

But Trump, as we all know, has strong political aspirations. After all, he was kind of almost president if you listen to him talk — and he was going to run for governor of New York, if all Republicans promised to not run against him.

Fat chance.

So The Don gave a talk at CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference today.

He slammed President Barack Obama, and lamented that the country is almost as bad as when “the late, great, Jimmy Carter” was president.

Well, the only problem with that is the former President James Earl Carter is very much alive, and — unlike every single Republican president who has left office in the past 50-plus years — is working his ass off on humanitarian projects.

By the way, it’s an appropriate time to remember that Jimmy Carter’s grandson was the one who found the infamous Mitt Romney 47-percent videos and brought them to Mother Jones. The rest is history. Unlike Trump, who will be forgotten the moment he’s gone.
