Tweet Of The Day: Bill Clinton’s April Fools’ Joke On Hillary
Bill Clinton has always been known for his sense of humor, and April Fool’s Day was just too much for the former president to ignore.
Clinton posted a well-constructed photo of himself wearing dark sunglasses, in an attempt to parody the “Texts from Hillary” meme and Tumblr that went viral in April of 2012.
Of course, keeping alive positive memories of the former Secretary of State while she’s debating a run for the White House never hurts.
The former president also updated his Twitter bio to read:
Husband, dad, FPOTUS, Bono impersonator, 3-piece suit aficionado, Hoya + Razorback fan, meme appropriator
Interestingly, the only non-family or non-Clinton Foundation Twitter account Bill Clinton is following is Stephen Colbert’s.
Time Magazine reminds us today that the original photo used in Texts from Hillary “was taken by Diana Walker for TIME.”
