In a paranoid and rambling speech focused on unnamed “they” and “them,” Sarah Palin spoke before the NRA’s annual Stand and Fight Rally on Saturday and attacked “some intellectual elite in some far distant capital,” along with liberals, progressives, Democrats, and “those clownish-little kumbaya-humming fairy (pause) tale inhaling liberals” who “want to control your guns.”
Palin slammed the idea of limiting ammunition sales at gun stores. “Gun stores are an accomplice to crime, and that fork made me fat.”
The former Republican Vice Presidential candidate went on to attack “those hypocrites” who “lose their minds” when a student prays in school.
“I do have to apologize for that,” Palin continued. “Not all intolerant anti-freedom leftist liberals are hypocrites. I’m kidding — yes they are!”
Then the former (and half-term) Governor of Alaska went on to talk about Muslims as “enemies who would utterly annihilate America.”
“Well, if I were in charge,” the former Mayor of Wasilla told her NRA fans, “they would know that water boarding is how we baptize terrorists.”
