Breaking: Bryan Singer, Accused of Sexual Assault Of Teenaged Boy, Says He Wasn’t In The US

X-Men movie series director Bryan Singer (image) reportedly says he was not in the country during the times he is being accused of sexual assault of a teenage boy. In stunning news this week, Singer was sued by Michael Egan III, who claims Singer and a group of men drugged him and plied him with alcohol and then repeatedly sexually abused him as “a piece of meat” that they would “pass … around between them.”

Those assaults, according to Egan, took place in the late 1990s when he was between 15 and 17-years old.

But now Singer is fighting back.

Sources connected with Singer tell TMZ … the ‘X-Men’ director has proof he was NOT in Hawaii during that period … he was in Toronto shooting the first ‘X-Men’ movie,” TMZ reports today.

We’re told Singer will file credit card bills and various other documents proving he was in Toronto during the times in question.

Meanwhile, Egan is said to be working on a blockbuster film about Hollywood with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Amy Berg.

Singer’s attorney says he will countersue, according to Philly.com.

“The claims made today about Bryan Singer are completely fabricated. We look forward to our bringing a claim for malicious prosecution against Mr. Egan and his attorney after we prevail. “It is obvious that plaintiff’s attorney is not looking to litigate the case on its merits. This matter is nothing more than the attorney seeking to get his 15 minutes of fame by sending out a press release with his ‘media consultant’ yesterday and following up with a press conference today. Attorneys who try cases don’t hold press conferences.”
