‘I’ve Won Television!’: Stephen Colbert Says Goodbye To Jon Stewart (Video)

Stephen Colbert “surprised” Jon Stewart last night to say goodbye to his former boss. Colbert is closing down his show by the end of this year and moving to CBS to replace David Letterman as the host of “Late Night” in 2015. He proclaimed, “I’ve won television!” And he has.

Colbert discussed is future plans, in character, mocking the person who will be replacing Letterman, and chastised Stewart for not putting together a best-of montage clip reel — so he did it himself. It was apparently titled, “Stephen, you are the greatest love of our lives!”

“I’m really going to miss me,” Colbert told Stewart.
