Somehow, in the U.S. House of Representatives, there is something called the GOP Financial Services Committee. It’s official name is the United States House Committee on Financial Services, and it’s also known as the Banking Committee, but the GOP majority isn’t even pretending to be bipartisan. And somehow, your tax dollars are funding this Madison Avenue advertising operation.
Unlike most committees in Congress, the GOP Financial Services Committee is not bi-partisan. There is a GOP Financial Services Committee website. There is a GOP Financial Services Committee Facebook page. There is a GOP Financial Services Committee YouTube channel. And there is a GOP Financial Services Committee Twitter account, from which they tweet partisan messages, like, “The simple truth is #overregulation steals time from American innovation & #jobs from American workers http://ow.ly/79BJ5,” which links to this 100% partisan advertisement for the GOP:
The GOP Financial Services Committee Twitter page only allows Republicans to tweet and are only following Republicans. The GOP Financial Services Committee YouTube channel only allows Republicans to post videos, and the GOP Financial Services Committee Facebook page doesn’t allow Democratic Congressman to post content.
And you can thank all the folks in this list on the left for spending your money to create false and partisan rhetoric against all the folks on the right half of the list.
