What Do You Think About The New Civil Rights Movement?

Since November, 2008, just days after Prop 8 passed, The New Civil Rights Movement has covered many of the issues impacting the LGBTQ community, from marriage equality to “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” from politics in general to the rise of the radical, rancorous right. And in positive response to problems that directly harm our community, we created “The Great Nationwide Kiss-In,” and “Out October.” In short, we’ve become what we set out to be: “A journal of news and opinion on gay rights and marriage equality.” And, I believe, so much more.

From The Washington Post to The Washington Examiner, The New Civil Rights Movement has been quoted by many iconic names — for better or worse! — like Maggie Gallagher at The National Review, and Little Green Footballs on the right, and ThinkProgress and Pam’s House Blend on the left. Our work has been linked to by almost every well-known progressive blog and news source, from The Raw Story to Rachel Maddow, and from DailyKos to The Huffington Post. (We can even count among our fans Ashton Kutcher and Ms. Magazine!)

We’ve been publicly labeled “Best Opinion” by The Week, and recognized as “one of the smartest sites on the web” by the editor in chief of 365Gay.com, “thoughtful, probing,” by Mediaite, and “very smart” by Joe.My.God.

Now it’s time to move to the next level.

And we need your help to get there!

Won’t you take five minutes to answer ten quick questions and help us take The New Civil Rights Movement to the next level?
