Watch: Uganda’s “Hang The Gays” Editor Speaks

There are few in the LGBTQ community who have not been mortified by the news coming from Uganda. There are politicians who have been trying to make the death penalty fit the “crime” of being gay, and make imprisonment fit the “crime” of not reporting gay people to the authorities.

Recently, amid protests around the world, one Ugandan newspaper, Rolling Stone, has been printing the names, addresses, and photographs of gay people, with the front page headline, “Hang Them.” Here, Rolling Stone editor Giles Muhames, explains why.
