Watch The Prop 8 Play “8” Starring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Jane Lynch
Last night, “8,” the play based on transcripts of the Prop 8 trial, was performed with an all-star cast and broadcast live last night. Now, you can watch it in its entirety, here.
The play, written by Academy Award winning screenwriter and “Milk” author Dustin Lance Black, boasts an amazing cast, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Martin Sheen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jane Lynch, Kevin Bacon, Chris Colfer, Matt Bomer,  Campbell Brown, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Cleve Jones, Matthew Morrison, Rory O’Malley, James Pickens, Jr., John C. Reilly, George Takei, and others. It was directed by AFER founder Rob Reiner.
As you know, Prop 8 is the law that stripped away the right to marriage from unknown hundreds of thousands of gay men, lesbian women, and bisexual people. It has since been declared unconstitutional in several different federal courts and by several different federal court judges, along with the Attorney General and President Barack Obama.
