Tonight, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand won election after being appointed to the former seat of Senator Hillary Clinton. Senator Gillibrand mentioned the importance of repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and embraced other LGBT rights including “full marriage equality.”
