As I wrote earlier, President Obama met in Baltimore with GOP Congressmen from the House of Representatives today. He cleaned their clocks. He countered, so deftly and specifically, their whines and concerns. This is the Obama we voted for.
Yes, Obama has a long way to go on equal rights for the LGBTQ community. But this was the smart, balanced, yet passionate politician we remember from the campaign. Welcome back, Mr. President. Please keep this passion and turn it on those who are acting against the LGBTQ community. We need your help.
