Watch: Homosexuality Is ‘Abomination In The Sight Of God’ Says GOP Lt. Gov. Nominee Jackson

The GOP’s nominee for Lt. Governor of Virginia said in a fiery statement that homosexuality is an “abomination in the sight of God.” E.W. Jackson, a Christian minister and politician also suggested that President Barack Obama is a dog, or a four-legged creature, and chastised his congregation for voting Democratic and for being “sinfully complacent” by condoning or by not attacking same-sex marriage.

“How dare we put party over the word of God?,” Jackson cried during a sermon last year. “How dare we put our race over the word of God? Nobody will ever convince me that because I’m black, I have a responsibility to vote for a candidate who will stand up on his hind feet and say ‘I believe we ought to admire same-sex marriage and I’m in favor of same-sex marriage’ when the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin in the sight of God and an abomination in the sight of God. I will not support anybody who would do such a thing.”

Last year, Jackson also told local church-goers that same-sex marriage leads to bestiality and called gays and lesbians “perverted,” “degenerate,” “spiritually darkened” and “frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally.”
