Evan Wolfson, executive director of Freedom to Marry, is one of the most important people you may never have heard of, and who we need to be front and center representing our community. His shepherding of the marriage equality movement has deep roots — he’s actually one of the first people to have worked in this fight. Time Magazine named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. I confess, he’s one of my heroes.
