Watch: At The DNC, Gays Weren’t Just Mentioned, We Were Celebrated!
At this week’s Democratic National Convention, gay men, lesbian women, and bisexual and transgender people weren’t just mentioned in passing, we weren’t just added on at the end, we were celebrated and embraced. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) just released this video with clips of some — not all — of the mentions of LGBT people.

Compare it, if you will, with the Republican National Convention, which attacked same-sex marriage and gay people as unnatural and immoral.
In this video, you’ll hear retiring Congressman Barney Frank, who perhaps drew the best comparison:
“You know there are a lot of Mitt Romneys. There was the Romney who was going to be better on gay rights than Ted Kennedy, now there’s the Romney who checks with Rick Santorum on that issue.”
