On Tuesday I wrote, “Bullying Is So Gay.” Last night, on CNN’s AC360, Anderson Cooper featured Candi Cushman (Focus On The Family), Eliza Byard (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network), and Rosalind Wiseman (Author,”Queen Bees & Wannabees”) to discuss the problem of bullying and FOF’s attack on anti-bullying programs.
Focus on the Family’s new anti-gay, pro-bullying website, “True Tolerance,” is an affront to anyone who has a child, is a child, or knows a child.
Bullying leads to emotional and physical violence, suicide, and murder. The facts are clear.
Just not to Candi Cushman and FOF, who would rather protect the right of a bully to bully than the rights of all children to live and learn in a safe and supportive environment.
It’s disgusting.
By the way, what makes Candi Cushman an “education analyst?” And read this, her only piece in U.S. News and World Report: “Intelligent Design Belongs With Darwin in Classrooms; Political Correctness Does Not.” Right…
