Washington, D.C. votes unanimously to recognize gay marriages

Washington, D.C. votes unanimously to recognize gay marriages. As if today’s Vermont gay marriage news weren’t enough, the District of Columbia just voted to recognize same-sex marriage legal in other jurisdictions. So, if you are a same-sex couple getting married in Vermont, Iowa, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or, hopefully, soon, California, your marriage will be legal in Washington, D.C. also. Congratulations!
