Tweet Of The Day: Bryan Fischer On Green Lantern Being Gay
It’s great to know that Bryan Fischer‘s ignorance extends in tot he world of comic books and into alternate universes as well. This afternoon, Fischer, the virulently homophobic public face of the American Family Association, tweeted, “Wonder how Ryan Reynolds feels about getting outed by DC Comics.”
As we all know, and as The New Civil Rights Movement reported, the Green Lantern character that is gay (not outed, just gay,) is Alan Scott, technically the first Green lantern character, except this Alan Scott “exists” in what amounts to an alternate universe, “Earth 2.”
For the record, Ryan Reynolds won’t be “gay for pay,” so to speak, if he ever makes another Green Lantern movie.
