Trump: The Unemployed ‘Get Better Benefits’ Than ‘The People That Are Working’

Donald Trump seems to be re-entering the possible Republican presidential candidate pool. The twice-divorced thrice married multi-billionaire father of five whose been an Independent, a Democrat, and a Republican, is heading to Iowa next week, along with Tea Party Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.

In Iowa, Trump will also be joined by the radical religious right at a conference sponsored by NOM, the National Organization For Marriage, Focus on the Family, Citizens United, the Alliance Defending Freedom, the Heritage Foundation, and the Family Leader.

Talking about the conference with conservative talk show host Steve Deace this week, Trump made himself very, very clear.

“I’m a Presbyterian and a good one,” Trump — who apparently has never acknowledged a personal flaw — told Deace.

He also reinforced that he is “pro-life,” and said Bob Vander Plaats, who has been accused of improper election-related activities, is a “friend of mine.”

But Trump, who spends a great deal of time attacking people on Twitter, also said he’s a very hard worker.

But of course, The Donald has great problems with people who are not employed.

Trump told Deace he works very hard, just like the people of Iowa, but one of the problems in this country he said, was, “people don’t work, they don’t have to work, they get better benefits if they take it easy, which is unfair because the people that are working are paying for that.”

I challenge Donald Trump to try to live on what the government gives in the way of SNAP (food stamps), Social Security, TANF, or any other government program for a month.

Let’s see how he does.
