You remember Jonathan and Gregory, that wonderful couple who are trying to win Crate & Barrel’s “Ultimate Wedding Contest“? I know you’ve already voted for them, but they’re still in second place. They’re trying to get the attention of Rachel Maddow — with just three days left in the voting process, to give them one last push!
They have a beautiful and troubling story, including being victim to an anti-gay hate crime and most recently the subject of some awful blogosphere treatment, but they’re unfazed.
It’s been an exciting journey for them these past few weeks. They have a Facebook fan page, they’ve been the subject of a local news spot, they were the headline photo (above!) for the New York Times’ feature on day one of D.C.’s same-sex marriage licenses (not to mention showing up in The Wall Street Journal and The Chicago Tribune!) and GLAAD has even worked to help them win!
