Thomas Roberts Talks With Ally Sheedy About Storm Ravaged LGBT Homeless Center

MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts yesterday spoke with actress and activist Ally Sheedy about New York City’s Ali Forney Center that supports LGBT homeless youth and teens, and was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy, a superstorm that killed over 113 people.

Sheedy describes the Ali Forney’s Center‘s support of homeless LGBTQ youth and teens in this segment, and Roberts reminds that they still need financial assistance, even after last week’s fundraiser.

The Ali Forney Center’s mission “is to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) youth from the harm of homelessness, and to support them in becoming safe and independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood.”
