UPDATE: Senate Democrats Gaveled In & Out, The Republicans Did The Same. No Work Done.
(Yawn…) Supposedly, the entire New York State Legislature will convene today at 3:00 PM, and supposedly the Senate will take up the gay marriage bill. Ordinarily, I would be on pins and needles, but I have been for weeks, and so, like my theory about umbrellas and TV shows, I’m going to be prepared. If I carry an umbrella it won’t rain. If I love a new TV show it gets cancelled. If I wait excitedly for NY to vote on a gay marriage bill it won’t happen. I’m doing everyone a favor and not getting emotionally invested…
