Last night “The Daily Show,” with John Oliver sitting in for Jon Stewart examined the “not guilty” verdict in the trial of the killing of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. In the segment, titled, “Wait? What? How Could You Possibly… You’ve Got To Be Kid…There Is No Way… I Can’t… Oh My God,” Oliver noted, “the system worked exactly as designed,” and then he did what “The Daily Show” does best: hold up a mirror to America.
