Texas Judge Who Belt-Whipped Disabled Daughter Being Protected By D.A.?

Is Texas family court judge William Adams, who belt-whipped his daughter 17 times as seen in a viral video, being protected — not prosecuted — by the local Aransas County, Texas, District Attorney? MSNBC’s Al Sharpton on Friday’s Politics Nation interviewed D.A. Patrick Flanigan, who claims he has exhausted all resources in an attempt to prosecute Judge William Adams, who beat his cerebral palsy-disabled daughter in her bedroom with a belt.

Sharpton also interviewed former child abuse prosecutor Wendy Murphy, who says D.A. Flanigan did not even talk to the victim, who at the time of the 2004 beating, was 16. Murphy talks about getting Adams to step down, and to ensure he is not re-elected.

“My father’s harassment was getting really bad, so I decided to finally publish the video that I had been sitting on for seven years,” the daughter, Hillary, had told the media.

Criminal does not even begin to describe this man or his actions.
