Oral Roberts had not only a gay son, who died by suicide, but a gay grandson, Randy Roberts Potts.
Oral Roberts, who pioneered televangelism and the circumspect concept of the abundance and prosperity ministry, preached madly against homosexuality. He died in December of 2009, the same day the Washington, D.C. City Council voted 11 – 2 to extend marriage equality to all its citizens, and on the seventieth anniversary of the première of “Gone With The Wind.”
