The blog called “THR 2.0, Proud Tea Party Son of a Bitch!” today posted an article, “Occupy Wall Street Protester Shits on American Flag,” with a complete (somewhat NSFW) version of this image. Only problem was, it’s a lie. (The author actually linked to a post from The New Civil Rights Movement, claiming, “Obama supports this behavior. I don’t even know what to say…,” another lie.)

The photo (right) is actually a section of a much larger image, and, as his readers pointed out, from 2007.
Here’s what Andy B. Hammond, the blog’s author, said to his readers in the comments:
Thanks for the heads up on when this photo actually appeared. I am guilty of assuming this scumbag was performing this act at an Occupy Wall Street event. Instead it appears he was doing this in 2007 at a Peace March in Portland, OR.
I’m sure we can all agree that the scumbag in the photo does not support Obama nor is he attending an “Occupy” event and performing similar acts. No way.
Actually, the title of my post is, in all probability, truthful. While the act in the photo was done in 2007, I’m 99.9% certain that this person is participating in an #occupy event somewhere. So therefore my title, “Occupy Wall Street Protester Shits on American Flag” is truthful. The only inaccuracy may be he is not on Wall Street but in Portland.
And, Obama supports these people. That is also the truth.
So where am I lying?
Well Mr. or Ms. Anonymous, how exactly am I presenting inaccurate information? I admitted my error about the photo and corrected it in my first comment. I then went on to describe how I am fairly certain the guy is out protesting in #occupy events which does give credence to my original post. You have to admit I have a point.
We all know this guy is out there protesting with the #occupy crowd. I’m certain he is even one of the leaders. He’s probably even shitting on another flag.
I also will say here and now that when all this shakes out we will find out that Obama and his affiliations were behind this entire “movement”. This is something Obama’s long time buddies, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright would be right at home with. Mark my words…

Sorry Mr. Hammond. Your presumption that “fairly certain the guy is out protesting” does not in any way lend validity to your original post. You have no point after the false information you presented was exposed.
You also only stated that Obama endorsed this picture and that you were speechless. Obama was not involved in this and again eliminates any validity to making a point.
Please refrain from creating false impressions about anybody in the future.

For those of you who state or ass-u-me that the idiot bearing his butt in the picture, above, is involved in any of the “Wall Street” gatherings without verifiable proof, you are not intelligent enough to be listened to by anyone.
